Imphal, October 28 2023: Cine Writer's & Playwright Forum (CWPF), Manipur in collaboration with Film Forum Manipur and Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) organised a 1-day symposium on "Role of film script in developing Manipuri cinema" at MFSDS's Auditorium on Friday.

It was attended by CWPF Manipur president Manaobi MM, Film Forum Manipur chairman L Surjakanta Sharma and MSFDS secretary Sanzu Bachaspatimayum as presidium members.

Moirangthem Rajen, Ajit Yumnam, Yambem Tombi, OC Meira and Binoranjan Oinam also attended the symposium as resource persons.

The gathering also observed two minutes of silence to pay respect to the departed script writers of CWPF and the brave heroes who gave their lives for the cause of the motherland in the present conflict.

National Film awardees were also felicitated.
