Moreh, January 17 2010:
The Tribal Hill Council, Moreh issued an ultimatum to the public, organizations and government authorities for the safe release of Nengsuanmang Zou of Moreh Ward No.1 who disappeared on November 10,/2009 .
In a press release issued on January 14, the Hill Tribal Council, Moreh stated that even after two months and numerous pleas and petitions to government authorities and organizations, nothing concrete has come up as far as his safe conditional release is concerned.
The release further went on to say that in desperation, having lost all hope, it is even reconciled with receiving his mortal remains to conduct the last customary rites.
But unfortunately, "our prayers are unheard and our petitions thrown to the dustbins" lamented the press release.
The Hill Tribal Council, Moreh, have issued an ultimatum till the midnight of January 19, 2010 for the safe and unconditional release of Nengsuanmang Zou.
It further warned it will not be responsible for any ugly turn in the agitation after this date.
Saying the Hill Tribal Council, Moreh will continue to hunt for Nengsuanmang Zou till he is found dead or alive and appealed to the public, organizations, government authorities for any clue which will lead to him.
