Rotary Egg Bank launched

Rotary Club of Imphal (RID-3240) today launched Rotary Egg Bank for Rotary Year 2023-24 at Chanura Leikol Children Home, Khurai Chairenthong, Imphal East District.
In a release, Rotary Club of Imphal informed that the project will also cover the Destitute Children Home, Tera Keithel, Imphal West district.
The inaugural function of Rotary Egg Bank was attended by Dr Th Dhabali Singh, past president; Dr Sanjib Nepram, president of the club and Ksh Robindro Singh, project director Universal Caring Mission as presidium members.
Members of the club along with staff of the home were also present during the programme.

The 'Rotary Egg Bank' project is a continuing community service project of Rotary Club of Imphal which will benefit nearly 100 children of these two children homes.
A child at the home will get four eggs per week free of cost with the eggs procured from local poultry farmers.
This project will indirectly benefit the local poultry farmers too.
A total of 1680 eggs will be provided to these children homes every month to provide nutritious food to children of the home.
Rotary Egg bank project is implemented with the voluntary donations from the members of Rotary Club of Imphal.
