RKM organizes talent hunt, SFS distributes relief materials

Student for Seva (SFS) Government Polytechnic Unit conducted a distribution of study material and medicine at the relief camp opened in Lamboi Khongnangkhong.
The event was graced by Dr K Mukta Singh, in-charge of SFS; Dr Santosh Singh, Khelo India in-charge and dedicated karyakartas from the Government Polytechnic.
According to a release issued by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Manipur, the distribution drive included the handing out of study materials to students and essential medicines to the camp residents.
This effort is part of a larger mission to support educational and health needs during challenging times, ensuring that the affected individuals receive necessary resources to continue their education and maintain their health.
At the event, Dr K Mukta Singh praised the students' initiative and added that this act of service by the students exemplifies the spirit of community and solidarity.
"It is through such efforts that we can uplift those in need and provide a semblance of normalcy during trying times", he added.
Reflecting on the collaboration with Khelo India, Dr Santosh Singh said, "Our objective extends beyond sports and physical health; it encompasses overall well-being.
The provision of educational materials and medicines is crucial in fostering a resilient and healthy community" .
The Government Polytechnic karyakartas were instrumental in organizing and executing the distribution, ensuring that the materials reached those most in need efficiently and effectively.
Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Kala Manch Manipur (RKM) has successfully organised the much-anticipated talent hunt event "Mithoi Mihen Changdamnaba" at MMRC and Unity Park, Khangabok.
The event was inaugurated by Khundrakpam Menjor Mangang, a respected social worker and chairman of KM Blooming Higher Secondary School.
Addressing the gathering, Menjor Mangang emphasized the importance of cultural growth, dance, and education in today's society.
He highlighted how events like these play a crucial role in nurturing and showcasing the artistic talents of young individuals.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the winners, MEIPA DANCE GROUP securing the 1st position, demonstrating exceptional talent and promise.
