Corporate Leaders' Conclave 2023 held at Imphal Hotel

Imphal, December 23 2023: The Corporate Leaders' Conclave, 2023 (CLC 3.0) was held yesterday at Imphal Hotel, North AOC on the theme, "Ensuring Business Continuity Amidst Adversity" .

The conclave was organised by management students of Manipur Technical University (MTU), Takyelpat.

It was attended by Commissioner (Textiles, Commerce & Industry) Pradeep Kumar Jha, MTU Registrar Ng Bhogendro and Manipur Industrial Development Corporation Limited (MANIDCO) Managing Director Polem Lenin as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep Kumar Jha said that though Manipur has quite a good presence in the field of sports and Handloom & Textiles, there are very few avenues for commerce & industry due to lack of private companies in the State.

"In this regard, it is important for the people of Manipur, especially youths to take a stand and students should also step out of their comfort zone to become successful in their lives", he added.

He also opined that corporations under the Government of Manipur like MANIDCO and Manipur Police Housing Corporation (MPHC) Limited should sign MoU with MTU to provide internship programmes to students.

Renowned entrepreneurs like Dr Th Dhabali, N Irabanta, Dr Kh Ratankumar, Dr Kh Palin, Roshnikumar Yambem and Romesh Oinam also spoke in the technical sessions.
