Distribution of relief items continues

In continuation of the assistance provided to the people, Emoinu Yahouloi Lup Ngaikhong Khullen distributed essential food items to 100 households in the containment zone of Ngaikhong Khullen, Ngaikhong Siphai and Ngakchroupokpi under Oinam AC today.
The assistance was provided in collaboration with the local MLA and Manipur Pollution Control Board chairman, I Radhakishwore; social workers Y Joukumar, I Memma, L Brojen, Ng Sivakumar and Ngaikhong Khullen GP members.
Speaking on the occasion, Emoinu Yahouloi Lup secretary, M Rajkumar stated that the assistance was provided to ease the suffering of the selected 100 households and assured to provide similar assistance in the future.
IMPHAL
Khundrakpam Kendra Development Committee (KKDC) under the supervision of the local MLA, Th Lokeshwar distributed essential food items to the households in the containment zone of Khundrakpam AC today.
Food items were distributed to 63 households of Pukhao Laipham; Tiger camp; Keibi Khullen; Khundrakpam ASHAA CLUB area; Pukhao Terapur; Khundrakpam YLL area; Tangkham Awang Leikai and Pangei Yangdong.
Speaking on the occasion, Sorokhaibam Yaiskul, secretary general KKDC stated that in a bid to ease the suffering of the farmers the committee had urged the local MLA to provide urea fertilizers for the farmers.
Acting upon the request of the people, 1000 bags of urea fertilizers were provided to the committee and distribution of these fertilizers has been initiated through a lottery system, he added.
NONEY
Gaidon Kamei, social worker and special invitee, BJP State Executive Committee also distributed essential commodities including rice, dal, mustard oil, face masks, etc to the households in Home Isolation at Longmai Part -2 village, Noney district.
Awareness on COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) was also given during the programme.
It may be mentioned that about earlier 55 persons were tested COVID-19 positive in Longmai Part -2 village.
THOUBAL
Similarly, members of the Election Committee under the supervision of social worker Kangabam Jadumani distributed food items at Yairipok Kekru and Haokha Mamang Elangbam Leikai under Wangkhem AC.
Eteen Computerised Eye Testing and Eye Care Center Thoubal also provided face masks, sanitizers, hand gloves, PPE kits, medicines, etc to the 135 inmates and volunteers staying at the Covid Care Center in SK Womens College, Nambtil.
Likewise, in a bid to encourage the farmers, MOMA under the supervision of Heirok AC MLA Dr Thokchom Radheshyam provided financial assistance to the pineapple farmers of Langmeithet in Thoubal district.
The Langmeithel Organic Pineapple Grower Group expressed their appreciation to MOMA and all those involved for their care and concern especially during this testing time of COVID-19
pandemic.
