KKL urges Centre to resolve crisis

The Kangleipak Kanba Lup (KKL) has urged the Central Government to minutely monitor the unfolding situation in Manipur and resolve the crisis which has been going on since May 3, 2023 at the earliest.
KKL, in a statement signed by its secretary general Luwangcha U Ngamkheingakpa, continued that it is essential for the Government to protect Kangleipak/Manipur to keep the unity and integrity of India intact.
Saying that the Government should refrain from deceiving the people of Manipur, the Organisation added that every Kangleicha takes any threat to the unity and integrity of Manipur seriously.
KKL will always work along with the people for the wellbeing of Manipur, it said and sought support from the masses in their endeavour.
Further stating that KKL has been working for the wellbeing of the indigenous communities of Manipur since 2018 by adhering to the Constitutional norms, the statement added that KKL will continue to work to safeguard the identity of Kangleipak and its culture and tradition.
KKL further said that they also have been standing against the force which wants to break apart Manipur now at their level best.
It asserted that the Kangleipak Kanba Lup is not an organisation which can be used as a tool by any individual or group to get some personal benefit.
