Herbert School extends humanitarian aid

Imphal, October 16 2023:
In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people affected by the present unrest, a team of Herbert School consisting of teaching/ non-teaching staff and students on Sunday provided relief materials to two relief camps in Kakching district.
According to a release issued by Dr K Nabachandra Singh, principal, Herbert School, the team visited the Khomdombi Memorial English School, Kakching Khunou Lamkhai Relief Camp and Elangkhangpokpi Relief Camp.

The team interacted with the internally displaced people (IDP) taking shelter at the relief camps and shared their sorrow & suffering.
The team of Herbert School distributed relief materials including blankets, stationary items, sanitary pads & food items to the inmates of the two relief camps to provide some relief and alleviate their problems caused by the prevailing tense situation.
