ABVP conducts campus cleanliness drive

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Government Polytechnic Unit has successfully conducted a campus cleanliness drive aimed at fostering a cleaner and healthier environment within the institution's premises.
According to a release issued by ABVP, a large number of students, faculty and staff of the institution participated in the cleanliness drive which was conducted under the theme, "Clean Campus, Green Campus" with the aim to promote civic responsibility & environmental consciousness.
The volunteers dedicated their time and efforts to ensure that every comer of the campus was immaculately clean.
Various activities such as litter picking, waste segregation, and beautification of green spaces were carried out during the drive.
Through collaborative teamwork and unwavering dedication, the volunteers not only cleaned the surroundings but also raised awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness for the well-being of the entire community.
Speaking about the initiative, Rikomba Meitei, president of ABVP Government Polytechnic Unit, expressed gratitude towards all the Karyakarta for their enthusiasm and dedication towards the cause.
"Our campus is not just a place of learning but also a home away from home for many.
By coming together to keep it clean and green, we are not only contributing to a healthier environment but also instilling a sense of responsibility and pride among our fellow students", he added.
The event garnered widespread support and appreciation from both within and outside the institution, underscoring the ABVP Government Polytechnic Unit's commitment to social responsibility
and community engagement.
