MLA Joykisan fears brain drain if conflict continues

Thangmeiband AC MLA Khumukcham Joyki san has raised concerns over possible brain drain from the state if the conflict continues to remain unresolved.
On Tuesday, the MLA extended monetary assistance to The Sangai Express (Manipuri) senior sub-editor Sanoujam Surjeshwor, who is currently undergoing treatment for an ailment at JNIMS.
Speaking to newspersons on the sidelines, Joykisan wished for peace and tranquillity to return in Manipur soon, while urging all civil society organisations and people of all communities, regardless of being part of hill or valley, to shoulder the responsibility of restoring peace in the state so as to save its future.
Stating that MLAs, whether in the ruling or the opposition, are trying their level best to safeguard the integrity of Manipur, he maintained that there is no difference between the ruling or the opposition when it comes to restoring peace in the state.
Joykisan then said that he will continue to extend assistance to the media persons in need, considering their selfless service to the public, notwithstanding rain or sunshine.
