Imphal, November 25 2015:
Manipur (India) outclassed England 12-3 in the 9th Manipur Polo International, 2015 played at Mapal Kangjeibung Pologround, Imphal on Monday.
In the second match of the day, Australia defeated Thailand 8-4 .
In the first match, Manipur and England played four chukkers.
In the first chukker, Manipur team player S Bimol opened the account 38 seconds after the start scoring the first goal.
Mike Howe of England equalized the margin in the 2.38 minute.
However, P Ojit scored three consecutive goals for Manipur in the later part of the chukker taking his team's total to 4 .

In the second chukker, Manipur's P Ojit netted the only goal of the round in the 1.45th minute.
England failed to open its account in the chukker.
In the third chukker, it was P Ojit again who netted two goals for Manipur in the 2.11th and 4.46th minutes of the round.
With an already a comfortable lead, Manipur hammered five more goals against England who managed to score just two in the fourth chukker.
Those who netted the goals in the fourth chukker for Manipur include H Abung Khuman (3 goals); P Ojit and S Bimol one each.
For England, the goals were scored by Mike Howe and Jack Aldridge.
Manipur won outclassed England 12-3 .
In the second match of the day, Australia beat an upbeat Thailand 8-4 as the two teams slugged it out playing four chukkers.
In the first chukker, Australia's William F Whie and James Henry Bell scored one each for their team.
Thailand failed to open its account.
In the second chukker, Australia's Jack Archibald, William F White and Robert Miller scored one goal each while Thailand's Supachai Sukhampha scored two goals.
In the third chukker, one goal was added to England by Thailand's Supachai Sukhampha's pony.
William F White scored one in the 2.17th minute for Australia.
Supachai added one to his team's total in the 3.58th minute of the round.
In the fourth chukker, both Thailand and Australia scored one each and the match ended in Australia's favour 8-4 .
