U-16 MNCA Boys Cricket: YWC complete league campaign with 10 wicket thrashing of KCDO

YWC, Langthabal had completed their Group A league campaign at the ongoing MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy with a ten wicket win against KCDO, Kongpal today at Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College Ground.
They are provisionally holding up the second place in the Group table and the result of YUCC vs PTRC match (on February 6 at Luwangpokpa Cricket ground) will decide their entry to the semi-finals or exit from the tournament as only two best teams will qualify for the semi-finals.
KCDO which won the toss and opted to bat first were in their worst form today and were bowled out for a mere 21 runs in 18.4 overs which was chased down with ease by YWC in 2.1 overs.
In an unexpected sight, 6 of KCDO batsmen departed on ducks and Lucky with 4 runs was the highest run getter as YWC Seram Robinson, H Basu, Richer and Soubam Robinson feast on KCDO wickets sharing two each.
YWC then strolled to victory (22 runs) in just 2.1 overs with Basu and Soubam Robinson contributing 11 and 3 runs respectively.
Basu who picked up 2 wickets and added 11 runs in the chase, was adjudged man of the match.
CRAU will also meet Blue Hawk at Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College ground tomorrow.
