Drowning girl child rescued

A girl child was saved in the nick of time today when she almost drowned at a pond but courageous actions attempts by another girl child led to people and passers-by spotting and saving her.
The incident occurred inside Manipur University campus today.
According to a source, the child, Thokchom Baby, was on a family visit to MU quarter where her aunt is an Assistant Professor.
After lunch, Thokchom Baby was playing with three other friend, including one Y Princia, near the pond in front of the quarter when she fell into the water.
Unfortunately, there was no one around and as such, Princia courageously attempted to pull up Baby by her hands.
At that time, some people from the quarter spotted Princia struggling near the pond and rushed to her instantly fearing that she might fall into the pond.
Upon reaching the pond, they realised that it was Thokchom Baby who had fallen into the water.
As such, the girl child was saved in the nick of time.
