JSYC, ESU set to relegate from MSL

Imphal, October 21 2012:
With only three matches remaining for the 7th Manipur State League to concluded, JSYC, Sadar Hills and ESU, Wangkhei are set to be relegated from the State League as they are placed at the bottom of the point tally with 4 and 6 points respectively.
Out of them, JSYC who earned 4 points so far have played all the matches of the league while ESU has one more match to play.
Even though they win their last match, ESU could not get above their nearest rival NISA who has earned 10 points in the completion of their match.
Meanwhile, in the first match today, JSYC, Sadar Hills was beaten by USA, Khurai 3-2 after a tough fight.
The two goals of JSYC, Sadar Hills were scored by Thangcha Kipgen in the 7th and 90+3 minutes of the match.
On the other hand, L Sanatomba, John L Hmar and L Roshan scored the three goals of USA in the 49th, 57th and 89th minutes of the match respectively.
Later, the second match was won by TRUGPU, Nambol after defeating NISA, Thangmeiband with a solitary goal.
The solitary winning goal of TRUGPU was scored by Keneth Chiru in the 48th minute of the match.
S Benson of TRUGPU and ZV Hoophok and P Romesh of NISA were issued a yellow card each for playing fouls during the match.
