Cops register case against ADC teachers

Based on a report furnished by the Forensic Science Laboratory, police have registered a case against additional teachers appointed by Churachandpur ADC.
It is reported that similar cases would be registered against additional teachers appointed in other ADCs too.
Whereas the State Government gave its consent to appoint 278 teachers through different ADCs, 835 additional teachers were appointed by different ADCs.
Following a complaint filed at Court by the additional teachers seeking their emoluments, the Government decided to check the attendance registers of the additional teachers at Forensic Science Laboratory.
The teachers were appointed in 2006 and they got their salaries till April 2007.Additional 835 teachers were terminated in April 2009 .
Acting on the teachers' complaint, the Court directed the State Government to pay emoluments to the teachers.
At this, the Government checked attendance registers at the forensic science laboratory during which a number of manipulations and wrongs were detected.
After the Forensic Science Laboratory has submitted a comprehensive report for Churachandpur district, Churachandpur ADC Chief Executive Officer was instructed to register a case with the police.
Already, a police case has been registered against additional teachers of Churachandpur district.
In the same manner, cases would be registered against additional teachers appointed by other ADCs once their respective reports are received from the forensic science laboratory.
According to the forensic report, there were many forged signatures with some appending their signatures on Sundays and holidays.
They also appended their signatures against non-existent dates of 'February 30' and 'February 31' .
