Imphal, May 25 2012:
The All Manipur Sportsmen's Guardian Association in a press statement alleged that the SAI NERC in the state is full of corruption and misconducts which hampers the credibility of the players being trained in the centre.
The association in the statement alleged that a Deputy Director is taking the charge of the Centre whereas the Centre used to have its Regional Director in the past.
In the past, the Centre has eight sub centres in the whole NE region under it.
But today, it has only three sub centres under it.
Even the Sub Centre in Guwahati is looking after the accounts of the NE Regional Centre.
Moreover, the disarrangement of the infrastructures, appointment of Coaches as In-Charges and unable to fill vacancies in the staff are hampering the coaching quality of the trainees in the Centre.
The boarding menu in the official records shows a huge difference with what they actually provide to the trainees.
In the official record, it is being maintained that meats are provided six days a week whereas in reality, meats are provided only three days in a week.
In the morning breakfast, only one egg is provided whereas it is recorded as two eggs per head in the official record.
The officials are also maintaining report of providing Everyday milk to its trainees while they actually provided dairy products.
Moreover, a kg of rice is also being recorded at Rs 27 in the official record, further stated the association's statement.
There are may differences in the official attendance report and Inmate Attendance report with full of fake vouchers.
Everything in this Centre is completely a mess which shows that the Deputy Director who is holding charge of the Centre is an incompetent officer, the statement added.
