AR saves baby boy

Imphal, May 25 2012:
Combined effort by doctors of 39 Assam Rifles of Red Shield Division and Primary Health Centre has managed to save the life of an eight-year old baby namely Mungiansang s/o Kapsuaniai of Singaizance village under Thinghat sub-division, informed a PIB (DW) release.
It is informed that the baby, suffering from acute bronchopneumonia with high fever and breathlessness was brought at around 10 pm of May 24.The doctors immediately provided oxygen and saline with antibiotics, thus saving the boy's life.
The baby was kept under observation at the 39 AR battalion headquarters and finally discharged to be taken home, added the release.
