Sadar Hills give warm reception to JSYC

People from across Sadar Hills lit candles yesterday night at various locations mainly along the National Highway-2 to give a reception to Jamsat Songtun Youth Club (JSYC) which represented Sadar Hills and won the 3rd Hill Districts Sports Meet, 2016 organized by HIDSAM, at Ukhrul yesterday.
The reception programme organised by Sadar Hills CSOs under the aegis of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills was held at Multi-Purpose Hall, SHADC, Kangpokpi .
JSYC custodian Mangcha Misao, who saved two brilliant penalty shoots in the final match between Sadar Hills and Ukhrul was cheered and lauded for his outstanding performance apart from the whole team including women's volleyball team, officials of DSA Sadar Hills and JSYC.
JSYC, Sadar Hills won the match 5-3 via tie break and were awarded a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh while Mangcha Misao and Ginkholen also won the best goalkeeper and top scorer titles.
Officials of DSA Sadar Hills and JYSC including the players submitted the awards to the ADC Sadar Hills administration during the function.
Sadar Hills ADC member Seikhosat Kipgen received the champions trophy with the cash prize and other individual awards on behalf of the ADC Sadar Hills administration and appreciated the achievement of the team.
Seikhosat Kipgen also lauded the teams' decision to submit their awards to the ADC Sadar Hills administration.
"I will talk to the Chairman of ADC Sadar Hills to organize a grand felicitation programme for the team to acknowledge the commendable achievement in the name of Sadar Hills" Seikhosat Kipgen assured.
Kuki Inpi Manipur vice president Lunpi S Gangte, Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills president Seikhomang Khongsai and Kangpokpi Town Committee chairman Chonkam Kipgen also attended the programme.
