Manipur lad Ramananda win 1 gold, 2 silver medals in 8th AASF Asian Age Groups Diving Championship

Imphal, October 06 2015:
Ramananda Kongbrailatpam, a diver who hails from Manipur won one gold and two silver medals in the ongoing 8th AASF Asian Age Groups Championship.
The Championship will end on Wednesday.
He won the gold medal in the 3mt Spring Board Synchronize Dive.
In 3mt Spring Board Synchronize Dive, Ramananda and compatriot Siddharth Pardeshi won medals for India.

Ramananda also got two silver medals in Junior Group 1's 1mt and 3mt Spring Board.
It may be mentioned that Ramananda had won 2 gold medals for India at the 7th AASF Asian Age Groups Championship 2011 .
Ramananda is the son of K Rajbir Sharma and K (O) Ranjana Devi of Chingmeirong East.
The Chingmeirong Youth Welfare Association and Ema Panthoibi Meira Paibee have congratulated Ramananda for achieving the feat.
The two organisations also wished him luck for all future competitions.
