International, National football players of Manipur play friendly

Imphal, June 24 2012:
National and International players hailed from Manipur and are currently playing in different clubs and the Indian team today played a friendly match by dividing into two teams at SWC Ground, Khongman.
The friendly was organised with an aim to encourage the future player of the state to become a successful footballer and bring laurels to the state.
Many young coaches who have retired recently as a player also participated in the friendly.

Speaking to reporters, a reknown international player said that the match was played during their off-season to encourage the young and budding players of the state.
They are also planning to play such more matches at different places.
