N Rajningthou Memorial Cricket : PTRC snap Al-Ameen's winning run, YUC romp past Model Club

Al Ameen's winning run at the ongoing 1st MCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Singh Memorial Trophy 2019 organised by Manipur Cricket Association came to an end after going down by 10 runs in the hands of PTRC, Patsoi at Langthabal Public Ground today.
YUC on the other hand earned a huge 80 run win against Model Club in a Group A league match at Heinoupok Ground.
In the Group B league match played at Langthabal Public Ground, PTRC posted a total of 125 runs for 10 in 30 overs through Rabi Sahu's 39 run knock and Jotin's 24 run in 34 balls after electing to bat first.
Maurya and Anubhav of Al-Ameen clinched two wicket each in this innings while Zamir and Wakil picked up before their disastrous chase.
The post was not a big one but exemplary bowling performances from Jotin, Rishi, Bungba and Joyraj earned PTRC the 10 run win.
Maurya managed 31 runs in 30 balls while Wakil gathered 14 runs in the chase that ended at 115 in 13.2 overs as Jotin of PTRC enjoyed a three wicket haul in his 6 overs spell while Rishi, Bungba and Joyraj picked up two wickets each in their bid to restrict the Lilong side.
Eventually, Jotin who shone with both the bat and the ball was named man of the match.
Meanwhile at Heinoupok ground, Young United Club, Kwakeithel stacked up a modest 185 runs target for 9 in 30 overs before restricting Model Club at 105 runs for all wickets down in 27.1 overs.
YUC's innings witnessed Thongam hit 27 runs off 56 balls while Bidyason and Rohit managed 26 runs each.
Kadamjit also made his name on the scoresheet for making 23 runs off 25 balls.
Bishorjit of Model Club was able to scalped 3 wickets for 5 overs giving 36 runs while Lemnganba and Kelvert picked up two wickets each.
Model Club's Kirankumar topscored for Model Club with 33 runs in his name off 63 balls in the chase while Susan and Kelvert added 16 and 12 runs each.
Devraj of YUC gave the man of the match performance securing 4 wickets alone offering 15 runs in 4 overs while Bikash and Somraj claimed two wickets each while maintaining perfect economy.
TRAU will meet PTCC in a Group A league match tomorrow at Heinoupok Ground while YWC will take on UCC in a Group B league match at Langthabal Public Ground.
