Jiribam, October 28 2012:
Student bodies of Jiribam have continued to lament the alleged apathy of the Education minister towards the welfare of students in Jiri area.
A statement issued by the Jiribam units of AMSU, MSF and DESAM rued that the Education Minister was urged umpteen times to look into the deficient infrastructure and manpower of educational institutions within Jiri area though nothing positive has been done towards this end.
Citing various grievances including lack of teachers, the aggrieved student bodies said they might boycott or agitate when the Education Minister visits Jiribam unless corrective measures are taken up.
