CCpur debuts as SSC exam centre

Over three-thousand candidates have turned-up for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination today as Churachandpur debuts as exam centre under the Staff Selection Commission.
Conducted in two shifts at two government colleges, the SSC's higher secondary level exam was supervised by over 110 supervisors.
They were assisted by the state police and their Quick Response Teams.
Irrespective of some initial hiccups, the examination went ahead as planned and in time showcasing the state second biggest township's credibility to host such national level competitive exams.
The examination was closely overseen personally by the Deputy Commissioner as well as the Superintendent of Police.
The Zonal Education Officer was appointed as co-ordinator, while the Quick Response Teams of the state police was deployed to ensure safety for the question papers as well as the answer sheets.
Local officials have put today's turn-out at 82.07 percent.
The original candidates SSC has allotted for the district was 3055 .
Churachandpur is now the second SSC exam centre in the state after Imphal.
