Imphal, November 15:
The bomb attack at a Langol Housing Complex quarter last night is highly speculated to be connected to an earlier extortion demand of Rs 5 lakh served to the targeted family by the Kuki militant group KLA.
One Jamjamang Guite, resident of Type-II Qr No F-56 suffered bomb splinter wounds in the attack.
According to informed source, the outfit had demanded the said amount from Jamjamang's son KC Guite who is the Manager of Indian Overseas Bank located in Thangal Bazar Alu Galli.
