Aid extended

Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur extended aid to one Heman Yaima Singh (55) of Lamkang under Kakching district who suffered a stoke which paralysed him for the last 10 years.
The Centre provided a wheelchair, 50 kgs of rice, potatoes, dal and blanket, conveyed a press release issued by secretary of the centre.
According to the centre, the story of Heman Yaima came into light when his case was reported to the centre and after visiting Yaima's residence, the centre decided to act.
It stated that Yaima did not even have the knowledge of getting a disabled certificate and was not aware of any disabled schemes launched by the Government.
Meanwhile, the centre also provided a wheelchair to one Sougaijam Jason Singh of Singhjamei Makha Waikhom Leikai.
