Imphal, April 21:
Thirty five students who are presently lodged at the Sajiwa Jail in connection with the Meetei Mayek agitation have not only boycotted the Manipur University exams which began on April 20 but have also threatened to boycott the upcoming BA, BSc and B Com exams conducted by the MU.
In a statement, the 35 students said that Meetei Mayek was more important than the MU exams and therefore would not mind losing a year or two for the sake of Meetei Mayek.
