Imphal, October 14 2008:
Taking strong exception to the criminal act of trafficking five Zeliangrong girls from the State to Singapore and Malaysia, the Kabui Samiti Manipur has urged upon the State Government as well as all civil organisations and citizens to award exemplary punishment too all those involved in trafficking the girls.
A press release issued by the Samiti further appealed to all parents to be cautious of their daughters before sending them outside the State in pursuit of jobs.
