Imphal, October 14 2008:
Two individuals coming in an oil tanker to deliver diesel at Tusk and Bones oil pump located at Hatta Minuthong after adulterating diesel with kerosene oil were pulled up by FCS Minister Y Erabot at about 9 am today.
The two frauds identified as Khemraj Sharma (42) s/o Chandra Prasad of Kanglatongbi, currently staying at MG Avenue and Jeevan Chetri (30) of Kalapahar were handed over to Porompat police station.
Khemraj is a contractor of Assam Oil Division whereas Jeevan Chetri is driver of oil tanker.
On receiving information about fuel adulteration, the Minister immediately went to the oil pump and managed to pull up the frauds, conveyed the FCS Minister.
