Warning all to be wary of some impostors who have been serving demand notices on departments, travel agencies, transport agencies, non Manipuri businessmen and some teachers, the proscribed KCP today said that such demands are nothing but attempts to tarnish the image of the outfit.
In a statement, the outfit said that the demand letters are signed by different names under the designations of finance secretary and gave the names of Nganba, Achan, Keirangba, Leisemba Sanasam, Thomas, Nganga Mangcha, Emoinu etc.
Setting the record straight KCP said it has suspended collecting financial aid from individuals and even the demand letters served on the Govt Departments (are always signed by its finance secretary KK Nganba.
These impostors have threatened that if the demands are not met they will meet dire consequences, said KCP and urged all to inform the party if any such demands are served on them.
KCP also warned that if anyone is found paying the impostors, then the outfit will take twice the amount paid to the impostors.
