Kabui Union appeals

Imphal, August 27 2021:
Kabui Union Manipur requested the Kabui Community in particular and the people of Manipur to lit a candle on the death anniversary of Haipou Jadonang Kabui on August 29 as a mark of respect and remembrance.
Haipou Jadonang Kabui was a remarkable leader who was sentenced to death by British in Manipur on August 29, 1931 for waging war against them to liberate their rule in Manipur, said a press release by the Kabui Union.
The Union also requested Kabui Village authorities to offer an oblation to Haipou Raa Gaang for the departed soul and for goodwill of entire village in the early morning at the Peikai.
