PREPAK refutes

Imphal, October 25 2018:
The proscribed PREPAK has refuted any connection whatsoever between the outfit and Thingbaijam Sumila Devi (30) d/o Th Nimai Singh of Pungdongbam who was reportedly arrested by a combined team of 9 Sector Assam Rifles and Imphal East commandos from Lamlai area on October 22 and subsequently remanded to police custody.
A press release issued by the outfit's department of publicity and propaganda, publicity officer Achouba further dismissed the Lamlai Police IO's statement about presence of PREPAK's hideouts inside Myanmar as disclosed by Sumila during interrogation.
The outfit contended that they have neither any hideout nor any base camp in Myanmar.
