Highlighting six points related to improvement of the education system in the State, All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturers' Welfare Association has submitted memorandum to Prime Minister and Human Resource Development Minister.
The points highlighted include initiating steps to bring about lasting peace in the State, appointment of a regular Director of Department of Education (S), appointnment of lecturers of Computer Sciences in Hr Sec Schools, revival of vocational education and to stop swindling of the fund released under the Centrally sponsored scheme of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Mid-Day Meal which are meant for the poorest of the poor in the society.
