Imphal, December 21 2009:
The core committee constituted by the Government to look into the demand of merging JN Hospital doctors with Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) has submitted its report to the Government.
It is reported that the committee headed by Commissioner (DP) PK Singh as chairman recommended merger of eligible doctors working under JN Hospital and Health Services with JNIMS after proper screening.
The report mentioned service related details and other benefits that would be available to doctors when they are absorbed in JNIMS.
The report would be tabled in a Cabinet meeting for a final decision, informed a source.
