Imphal, August 06:
To protest the custodial killing of Th Manorama Devi, delay in revocation of AFSPA and use of brute police force to foil democratic movement, Eema Leipak Thoukal Lup, Khwai Eema Keithel Nagamapal has given a 12 hour bandh call at parts of Thangmeiband and Uripok areas from August 8 morning.
The bandh will cover shops and other business establishments located in between Maharani bridge and SS Hotel near Nagamijpal Kangjabi Leirak, according to a press release of the Lup.
All shop owners are informed to comply positively to the bandh call to avoid undesired consequences, cautioned the Lup.
