A documentary film entitled 'Gun and a God' and directed by Sonia Nepram has reportedly been selected for screening at the upcoming Mumbai Women's International Film Festival.
The 30.56 minutes documentary is said to be based on the ordeals of one Than-gjam Ongbi Purnima, who also acts in the film, in her search for her parents.

Speaking about the film's selection at Manipur Press Club today Purnima expressing elation on the film's selec- tion informed that the documentary has already been re- leased through the internet medium based on which she and Sonia were invited to attend the Mumbai event.
According to the director the Mumbai festival is organised by Oculus Creation, a division of Dolphins Interactive Sciences Private Limited.
It is said that the festival to be held from october 8 till 14 will screen about 150 documentary films from 72 countries.
