Vehicles leave Jiribam

Imphal, October 20 2011:
Atleast 1717 goods laden vehicles left Jiribam for Imphal today along NH-37, reports our Correspondent.
The vehicles were escorted by police commandos and IRB and MR personnel.
The goods loaded vehicles included 349 trucks of FCI rice, 322 trucks of cement, 73 diesel tankers, 57 trucks of wheat, 35 kerosene tankers, 24 LPG bullets, 22 petrol tankers and other vehicles carrying essential commodities.
