The Vigilance Awareness Week, 2004 observed by Airports Authority of India, Imphal Airport concluded today.
Director of Vigilance Ch Birendra, IAS was the chief guest of the event.
In his address, Birendra enlightened the gathering on various aspects of as how to deal with the customers.
A brief summary of the week-long programmes conducted was spelt out by Deputy GM, Imphal Sylvester Israel and Officiating Controller of Communication and head of the Organising Committee gave the vote of thanks.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions by the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Competitions like elocution for staff and officers of AAI on the topic of �Creating a environment for corruption free governance in public sector�, elocution for girl students upto class XII on the topic �Role and contribution of women towards clean and effective governance�, sit and draw competition for students on the topic of �My dream of an ideal society� and essay writing on �The importance of moral value and work ethics in life� were organised during the week-long observance.
