Imphal, October 18 2009:
A one-day extended outreach free medical health camp was held at Twisomjang village in Sadar Hills under the National Rural Health Mission programme, a statement issued by the Block Health Programme Manager, CHC Kangpokpi, Thangjamang Chongloi informed.
Around 603 patients were examined at the health camp including 58 Gynae patients, 168 patients in Medicine, 217 in Pediatric, 68 in Ayush, 10 in surgery, 10 in TB (RNTCP), 17 in HIV/AIDS, 46 eye patients, and 9 in Malaria department.
Special immunisation was conducted during the medical camp and free medicines were also provided to the patients, it added.
