The NSU land ownership issue can't be compromised and nobody except Senjam Khunou and Senjam Chirang has the right to claim ownership of the site, said Senjam Khunou and Senjam Chirang Joint Development Organisation.
In a statement today, the organisation claimed that the NSU site was sold to Senjam Chirang and Senjam Khunou on payment of Rs 13 for the purpose of thatching and cutting grass, as per State Durbar verdict in 1928 .
The Government shouldn't compromise on the issue.
The site is owned by Senjam Khunou and Senjam Chirang and no other entity has the right to claim ownership, said the organisation.
