Drinking water supply reaches Kshetri Yangbi Khul

Drinking water supply in Kshetrigao Yangbi Khul has started after pipe laying for the same was completed recently.
MLA Nahakpam Indrajit had promised earlier that clean drinking water supply will be brought to the village which has long suffered and endured the shortage of drinking water by February 10.Locals of the village expressed gratitude to the MLA and assured their support in the upcoming general elections at the felicitation of the MLA held today at the village.
Md Nizamuddin, Upa-Pradhan, part-I Kshetrigaon Gram Panchayat said, Kshetrigao AC is populated by three communities Kabui, Meitei and Muslims and added that MLA N Indrajit has worked continuously for the development of the AC and all the communities without any bias and it is an example of a great leader.
MLA N Indrajit had received only 31 votes from Kshetrigaon Yangbi Khul (polling station 4/25) in the last general election but the villagers will make sure that he gets more than 200 in the upcoming elections, he added.
The MLA also assured that the main road of the village will be repaired to meet the demand of the increased traffic volume by March, 2021 .
A 20 member Kshetri Yangbi Committee was also formed led by Md Nizammuddin to campaign for reelection of N Indrajit in the next election.
