Imphal, July 17 2009:
USER Manipur has appealed DESAM members to lift the 120 hours bandh called by the students' body in view of the hardship faced by People Living with HIV/AIDS, participants of the Oral Drug Substitution programme, and patients of HIV/AIDS and Hep C, according to a release issued by its secretary of research and indormation wing, Ningthoujam Roshan.
The USER Manipur has also urged the government to bring an amicable solution at the earliest.
The Association of Independent Minds, (AIMS) has also appealed DESAM to lift the strike in view of the various examinations schedules in the state, according to its working president, Bimola Laishram.
