Imphal, March 06, 2010:
A man in his early thirties has succumbed to injuries suffered from sharp, while being brought to RIMS Hospital by a team of Lamphel Police station today.
As per police report, Arambam Binoy (33) from Maspara village in Assam's Cachar district, was found profusely bleeding and abandoned at a secluded spot in between Shija Hospital and Meitei Langol at around 6.30 am.
On being informed the police team reached the spot and was subsequently bringing the wounded man to RIMS Hospital but passed away on the way.
Binoy has injury marks on the head, face, hands and abdomen likely to have been inflicted by a sharp weapon.
The body is being kept at RIMS morgue while a case has been registered by the police.
