Imphal, December 28 2009:
The banned Revolutinary People's Front (RPF) has greeted the people of Manipur, specially the Kabui community on the occasion of Chakan Gan-Ngai festival.
In a press release, Secretary, Publicity, RPF, T Leishemba stated that in a land where 36 communities live together, the rest of the communities ought to respect a particular community's festival.
There is no instance in the history of Manipur where a community tries to destroy another community's traditions, faith and cultural heritage, Leishemba stated.
Let the torch of Chakan Gan-Ngai light up the darkness and convey the message of co-existence and communal harmony, he wished.
