The Govts of Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and Chhatishgarh have decided to enlist and computerise names of their employees in line with the State's Manipur Govt Employees' List (MGEL).
Following an request from the Govt of Jammu and Kashmir to the Centre seeking help from the State Govt in installing a computerised human resource management system, two State officials were sent to Jammu and Kashmir.
Special Officer of the Directorate of Management and Information System Ksh Imokanta and SIEO of NIC Kh Rajen went to Jammu on December 17 together with Union Government's Joint Secretary PK Jha where they held a brainstorming session with J&K officials.
State officials have also started preparing a project for the proposed human resource management system of Jammu and Kashmir Govt.Notably, five officials including the then Chief Secretary Jarnail Singh, DP Secretary S Sunderlal and Joint Secretary (Finance) K Radhakumar were awarded for successfully implementing MGEL.
