Flag off ceremony for recruitment rally

A flag off ceremony for 186 candidates was conducted today by Khuga Battalion.
The programme was held for candidates who have passed their physical and medical tests during the army recruitment rally held wef October 15 - 24 at Churachandpur district Peace ground, which was conducted by Khuga Battalion under the aegis of Churachandpur Sector Assam Rifles.
Khuga Battalion had registered 882 candidates out of which 269 candidates were selected for further physical training & pre-medical examinations.
228 candidates who passed the tests were coached for written test and a strength of 105 selected candidates from far flung and remote areas were provided boarding and lodging facility in the dormitories provided by the Khuga Bn, said a statement of PIB (Defence Wing) today.
Books, stationery and periodicals were provided to each and every candidate.
The coaching classes for the candidates was regularly monitored and periodic assessments were conducted to identify weak areas.
This progressive training has made the aspirants confident while at the same time increased their chances of clearing the written exams, said the statement.
