KAMA observes foundation day

Kabui Mothers' Association (KMA) today observed its 9th Foundation Day today at Keishamthong Kabui Community Hall, Imphal with MLA Janghemlung Panmei as Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Janghemlung said that people of both hills and plains should live peacefully with bond of brotherhood and love for a prosperous and developed society.
They should share joys and sorrows of each other in times of good and bad, help each other and stand united for development.
Kabui Mothers' Association has been doing many valuable services to the people and the state.
People should encourage such organisations, he added.
President of Irabot Foundation Thounaojam Iboyaima, who attended the function, observed that Meeteis and Kabuis have a relation of brotherhood since times immemorial.

In order to revive that loving relationship, it is necessary for the people to recall ancient histories of the state as well as the legend of Kabui Salang Maiba who played an important role in the Meetei and Kabui societies.
UCM President Nabachandra said that people of different communities living in the state should stand united for a stronger and peaceful Manipur.
NICO President K Sushil; ICHAM President K Rajen; KMA President Kakumlunglu Kamei and Principal Secretary LP Gonmei also attended the function as presidium members.
