Imphal, August 07, 2012:
Some unidentified persons called the offices of daily papers Naharolgi Thoudang and Huiyen Lanpao and informed that bombs have been planted at the two offices which later turned to be hoax calls.
At about 2.20 this afternoon, unidentified persons rang up the offices of the two newspaper offices and asked to evacuate all the people present in the offices.
Apart from informing that bombs have been planted in the two offices, the unknown callers disconnected before any details could be elicited.

The same information about planting bombs was passed to police and Imphal West DSP (Cdo) Dr S Ibomcha and SDPO N Modhunimai together with explosive experts of Manipur scanned the two newspaper offices but no bombs were found.
