Imphal, February 01:
The United national Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for the attack on the troopers of 4 Assam Rifles at yairipok-Ngariyan road yesterday.
A press statement issued by the assistant secretary (publicity) central committee secretariat of the UNLF said in the bomb attack carried out by MPA cadres a jeep was damaged substantially and six security personnel including the Captain suffered serious injuries.
No MPA cadres were hurt, claimed the statement and added that the UNLF had taken utmost care not to inflict injuries upon civilians during attacks on security personnel.
