Dr Jugindra to attend Singapore conference

Shija Hospitals & Research Institute, Langol, is once again poised to bring laurels to the state of Manipur in the field of healthcare delivery.
Two abstracts were sent for the first international conference to be held in Singapore on 'Humanitarian Medical Missions Volunteers beyond Borders'.
Dr Jugindra S, author of the papers, has received a special invitation to become a panel member of the International task force for voluntary health services across the world.
The other representatives on this task force panel are NGOs like Interplast, Australia and New Zealand, Operation Smile Singapore, UK and China), Health Frontiers, and Singapore International Foundation.
One of the goals of the task force is to come out with guidelines for humanitarian medical missions at the end of the conference.
The two papers he submitted were on the topics: Experience as Relief Volunteer in the Gujarat Earthquake and Voluntary Health Missions in Myanmar conducted by Shija Healthcare and Research Institute.
Dr Jugindra S is currently working as a Consultant Surgeon and Director of Medical Services, Shija Hospitals and also President, East Zone, Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.
