Skeletal remains believed to be of a male have been recovered today from Kolomai Makeng village which is about 10 kilometers north-east of Senapati district headquarters.
Villagers came across the skeleton yesterday and informed the discovery to the police who collected the same today and kept it at Senapati police station.
On account of pieces of clothes found with the body there is strong speculation it might be a male.
On the other hand, police have collected a male body likely to be a non-Manipuri from near Bhairodan Hindi High School at around 3.10 pm today.
The body with longish face, black hair and about 5.6 feet in height would be disposed off in case nobody claim the same, said a police report.
